From identifying “mother trees”, the hubs of vast symbiotic mycorrhizal networks, to suggesting ways to regenerate forests battling climate change, Simard clearly outlines how we need to change our relationships with these “supercooperators”.

I just read a book by Peter Wohlleben, called Das geheime Leben der Bäume (the secret life of trees) stating pretty much the same. Great and eye-opening read.
