I’m going to plant an “Oh, wow!” plant to bring light to a dark corner like this Fringe Tree (Chionanthus virginicus). Native to North America, it’s very hardy, pollution and drought tolerant and can thrive in part sun. And it’s the perfect size for a city or suburban garden, growing only to a maximum of 20 feet in height.
A small ornamental tree has creamy feather-like blooms.
